Josh Villbrandt is the lead software developer at a stealth robotics company. Prior to this, Josh was a software lead at inVia Robotics, a robotics start-up focused on warehouse automation. His work is focused on multi-robot coordination and optimization. Josh worked at SpaceX as an avionics integration engineer before joining inVia Robotics. While at SpaceX, Josh worked on the Cargo Dragon and Crew Dragon development programs and led a team of software developers that created tools to automate the engineering design of avionics systems.
Josh received a Bachelors of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a Master of Science in Computer Science, both from USC. While at USC, Josh was involved with the AeroDesign Team where he created the Plane Tools Matlab application and with Illumin where he re-designed and re-programmed the Illumin website which hosts student engineering papers.
